FIFA
releases app for Android and iOS in the run up to 2014 World Cup.
As the final draw for the upcoming FIFA World Cup 2014 is
scheduled to be held soon, football’s governing body has introduced the
official apps for all things World Cup.
Essentially released to be the most comprehensive football app,
FIFA will contain information about everything related to the sport from all
across the plant. “From the Bundesliga to the Barclays Premier League,MLS to La
Liga, the World Match Centre provides unrivaled coverage of 197 leagues across
the globe,” the app description reads.
Interestingly, the FIFA app will allow everyone to stream the final
draw for the 2014 World Cup,slated to be held at Brazil, live as it happens.
The draw will take place on December 6. Post the draw, the app
will keep you updated with information with the schedule, some exclusive destination
guides and team profiles too.
The App is designed to allow checking out of breaking news stories, galleries that are
powered by Getty Images,videos from the FIFA TV studio and FIFA archives as
well. The FIFA app will also help you check out FIFA Coca-Cola world rankings, team
rankings for both men’s and women’s teams as well as information about FIFA’s worldwide
projects.
The app’s features are available in five languages: English,
Spanish, French, German and Portuguese.
